NLP Life Coaching
What can I expect from the coaching sessions?
Firstly, we will meet to discuss what you want to change and the problems you want to overcome.
I will ask you questions to find out where you are now in terms of achieving your goal; what you have already tried and help you to explore what your current options are.
I may use a variety of visualisation techniques to help you if you feel stuck in particular areas e.g. you may be scared of doing presentations and this is something you need to overcome to reach your desired goal.
I may give you a number of exercises to practise at home. While the main neurological changes will have occurred during the session, they may take time to settle in. It is normal for the changes to progress over time, as you get back into your daily routine.
You will come back for additional sessions after an agreed time to revisit your goals; discuss your progress and do further work if needed.

It focusses on the future. You will not need to talk to me about your past or your childhood.
Some of the techniques involve visualisation. You do not need to talk to me about the problem in detail, you just need to be able to create a picture of it in your mind.
Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is often regarded as “a tool-kit for the mind” and is used to improve all areas of a person’s life. It is known to be particularly effective for improving anxiety and stress; health and well-being; fears and phobias; relationships; confidence; business.
The results of coaching tend to be very quick. This is because the process is participative and people tend to learn and adopt new habits more easily when they are actively engaged in the learning process.
It takes place over an extended period of time to allow you time to implement the changes discussed and is it not something that you need to commit to attending weekly.
The sessions will be helpful if you have specific goals you would like to achieve e.g. losing weight, starting your own business or they can be helpful if you simply feel stuck. They will help you to find direction and set appropriate goals.
The techniques can help with specific anxiety provoking situations i.e. delivering presentations; communicating with difficult colleagues etc.

Time Line Therapy (TLT) is a powerful therapeutic process that has evolved from hypnosis and NLP, developed by Tad James in the 1980s.
TLT provides one of the most powerful processes and techniques for personal change and growth by facilitating the elimination of the painful emotions attached to memories or events in the past. TLT also focuses on what we can learn from those events and use what we learn as a resource for the future. Time Line Therapy techniques produce long lasting transformation much quicker than what is currently called “brief therapy”, with a minimum of discomfort to you.
The negative emotions that are focussed on are: anger, sadness, fear, hurt, and guilt. TLT also enables you to clear limiting beliefs that can leave you stuck in the past and stop you from creating what you want in your life. Both unwanted negative emotions and limiting beliefs influence every area of our lives.
Benefits of Time Line Therapy (TLT)
You can heal negative emotions without talking to me about your past and your childhood. TLT uses visualisation techniques to help you revisit past experiences.
It is an extremely powerful therapeutic process that takes a short amount of time to do but has incredible benefits - a typical TLT session is 3 hours long. Clients can often get the results they want in a matter of hours rather than months or years as with a traditional talking therapy.
Studies have shown that unresolved negative emotions can affect the physical body and lead to the development of illnesses.
TLT is most beneficial for helping to alleviate anxiety and stress related conditions.
TLT helps to heal the root of the negative emotion and doesn't just concentrate on one particular event/experience.
TLT is invaluable in enabling you to resolve negative emotional issues from the past and clear limiting beliefs (such as “I don’t deserve love” or “I am not good enough”) and decisions that may have prevented you from moving forward as well as achieving your goals for the future.
