About me

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…

There was a too-sensitive, timid girl with fluorescent orange hair who spent her days, wishing she was someone else, wishing she was ‘normal’.

She was a ‘good’ girl. A lover of learning and eager to please but over the years her need for perfection created a mind-made cage in which she was trapped.

The vile voice that took up residence in her head tortured her with malicious words, stripping her of trust, faith and love for herself…

IF ONLY THIS WAS JUST A STORY, BUT THIS WAS ME. THE FACT THAT YOU'RE READING THIS, PROBABLY MEANS THAT YOU CAN RELATE TO SOME OF THIS TOO.

If you’ve ever suffered with anxiety then you know how exhausting it can be! It felt as though there was a Tazmanian Devil whirling around in my head, making it hard to concentrate on anything. Making me feel sick to the stomach.

I have always been an over-achiever. Always living by the motto of, ‘If you’re going to do something, then you do it properly’. I have found myself time and time again in cycles of self-sabotage, running myself into the ground, trying to be perfect, competing with no-one other than myself and the voice in my head that told me I could do better, that I wasn’t good enough. This need to always be better where was the Imposter Syndrome well and truly started. I was so focussed on proving my worth, proving that I was good enough, that I never stopped to appreciate what I had achieved. Waiting to be found out.

Supporting people is at the core of my being. As a teenager, the best thing about my week was buying a magazine from the local shop, eager to get it home to read the problem pages. I covered up the agony aunts’ response while I read the problem, imagining what I would say to the reader. There was no better thrill than when my response matched theirs! My love for people and interest in their behaviour only grew when I did my degree in Psychology. Every job I’ve had since has been with people, supporting them to grow and feel good about themselves.

My Career

After gaining a degree in Psychology, I started off my career as a Primary School Teacher. After having my boys and having a tough time with depression, I decided it was time to follow my true passion and I retrained as a counsellor.

Over the last 10 years, I have worked with hundreds of clients, of all ages and with all manner of difficulties, such as anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship issues, stress, bereavement, eating disorders, OCD, gender and sexuality issues and phobias.

As my passion for personal development has deepened and I have fallen in love with the work of Tony Robbins’. I am also now a Master Coach and Master Practitioner of NLP, Time Line Therapy and Hypnotherapy which has given me so many extra tools in my therapeutic tool-bag to help clients achieve life-changing results. Oh my gosh, I just lurrrrve my job!

I have realised the thing that lights the fire in my belly is working with ladies like you. Ladies like me, in fact! Hard-working, talented women that have already achieved great things in their lives but struggle to see their greatness because of the self-doubt and lack of confidence that hangs around them like shackles. Well, it’s time to break free!!!

IT'S TIME TO SAY GOODBYE TO SELF DOUBT AND HELLO TO THE FEARLESS WARRIOR WITHIN YOU!

Imagine what your life, career and business could be like if only you believed in yourself as much as I believe in you.
