Thema Bryan
Counsellor in Training

Hello, I’m Thema, a dedicated and compassionate trainee psychotherapist currently pursuing a master’s degree in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy.
As a member of the BACP, I uphold the highest ethical and professional standards, ensuring a safe, supportive, and confidential space for my clients.

I practice integrative therapy, drawing on various evidence-based techniques to tailor support to your individual needs. My approach primarily incorporates: Person-Centred Therapy Providing a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your emotions freely. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – Helping you identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, equipping you with practical tools for lasting change. Attachment Therapy – Exploring how past relationships influence your present experiences, supporting you in developing healthier emotional connections.
While my approach is client-led, allowing you to progress at your own pace, I also offer structured guidance and practical strategies where needed. I recognise the deep connection between identity, culture, and personal experiences, ensuring my practice remains inclusive, affirming, and supportive of diverse backgrounds.
Outside of my training and counselling work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it’s walking in nature or exploring new places when I can. Staying physically active is important to me, and I enjoy going to the gym and keeping up with my energetic grandchildren. Family time is something I deeply value. While I don’t currently have pets due to time commitments, I have a great love for animals and always enjoy being around the beloved pets of family and friends.
