Jules Lowe

Counsellor in Training

Jules.jpg

Hi, I am Jules.

Having discovered how life-changing counselling can be through experiencing it myself, I want to help others realise their true potential and see how wonderful they truly are. I have always been passionate about helping others – I spent nearly twenty years as a primary school teacher and saw the well-being and mental health of the children I taught as my top priority – and have always felt it important to use my natural warmth and empathy to care for those in need.

I am currently training at Staffordshire University to become an Integrative Practitioner, which means I can tailor my approach to suit the individual, as I believe that no two people are the same. I am an accredited student member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (the BACP) and I aim to create a safe space in the counselling room where clients from all backgrounds and experiences feel truly heard.

In my spare time I love going for walks in nature and being outdoors as I find this so calming and grounding. Forests are my happy place, and even better if I’m sharing the experience with loved ones and friends. By contrast, I also love performing with a local amateur Musical Theatre group, where I can dance and sing and act and sparkle!

on to come!
