Julie Gregory-Bateman
Counsellor
I would like to say Hello, and offer kind and warm greetings, I’m Julie.
In 2015, I began studying with Derby University to gain knowledge, experience, and qualifications in psychological therapies and mental health issues. I was awarded a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy in 2016, and an Advanced Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in 2017.
I have also been awarded an accreditation certificate for the study of Dementia and related patient care. I am a registered member of the BACP, fully insured and have recently gained an MSc in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I currently manage an adult caseworker role and related responsibilities, alongside my MSc studies, with a Derbyshire-wide victim led support service, and I am dedicated to working closely with all my clients to provide wrap-around support during the challenging and tough times of our lives.
My commitment is to provide a safe, confidential, non-judgmental, and entirely open space for you to feel both welcomed and supported, and to begin our journey towards a clearer understanding and awareness around any present and past concerns you may have.

I have been truly fortunate in having a grounded experience in business management roles, including finance, coordination, procurement, personnel, and hospitality arenas, and always seek to consider embracing additional support opportunities – where appropriate and beneficial – within the bounds of our confidential and consenting agreements. I don’t think that there is anything better than having as much support as is relevant and helpful.

At home, we love to support our local community projects and sponsor individuals taking on new challenges and goals. We have a wonderful ‘four-legged’ family and so spend a great deal of time outdoors and are hoping to add a small pond soon!

I look forward to meeting you.
