Mollie-May Bircher
Counsellor in Training
Hello, my name is Mollie.

As long as I can remember I have always been caring and empathetic at heart, as well as holding a strong passion for providing care and support for others.

My passion has resulted in me pursuing work and further training in various care and support environments. Since graduating with a bachelor’s in psychology, I started my journey into counselling and therapy by completing my counselling diploma. I have since started studying for my masters in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy at the University of Derby.

Alongside training to be a therapist I work as a support counsellor at well-being clinics supporting individuals during difficult times of their lives. I have first-hand seen the amazing potential we all hold inside of us, every one of us, no matter what our background or the difficulties we face may be.

No two human beings are the same, therefore my training is integrative, this means that I work closely with you, as an individual, to tailor a therapeutic experience that works for you. In addition to this, I am an accredited student member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Every single individual deserves access and the opportunity of having a safe and welcoming space to talk about their past and current difficulties without facing any judgement.
A little about me: I absolutely love cooking and trying challenging new recipes, as well as walking outdoors and exploring new and beautiful places. I love being able to capture the beauty of life and nature through my handy canon!
