Sound familiar?
On the outside, you’re holding it together.
You’re functioning. Showing up. Getting things done.
But underneath?
Your mind won’t switch off.
You’re constantly overthinking.
You feel overwhelmed, on edge, exhausted -
yet you keep pushing through.
You’ve become used to putting other people first.
Saying yes when you want to say no.
Carrying more than you should.
And somewhere along the way…
you’ve lost sight of yourself.
What you need.
What you want.
What actually matters.
You might not have the words for it.
You might not know exactly what needs to change.
But you do know this:
It can’t carry on like this.
You're in the right place
YOU'RE NOT BROKEN. YOU'RE OVERLOADED.
HOW WE CREATE REAL CHANGE
MY APPROACH IS BUILT AROUND 3 STAGES...
1
CLARITY
We get beneath the surface.
Understanding what’s really driving how you feel -
what’s working, what isn’t, and what’s keeping you stuck.
So you can make sense of it all and reconnect with who you are, what you need, and what matters.
2
CONTROL
Once you understand what’s going on, we focus on what needs to happen next.
You’ll learn how to manage your thoughts and emotions, let go of what’s holding you back, and take control of the actions that move you forward.
So you feel calmer, clearer and back in control.
3
CHANGE
This is where things shift.
With the right support, structure and accountability,
you’ll start making different choices -
setting boundaries, taking action, and creating a life that actually works for you.
HOW THIS IS DIFFERENT FROM COUNSELLING
Don't get me wrong, counselling can be incredibly valuable (we have an incredible team of counsellors).
COUNSELLING HELPS YOU...
explore your past
understand your emotions
make sense of your experiences
But often, people come to me when they feel like:
“I understand why I feel like this… but nothing is actually changing.”
My approach is different
We don’t stay stuck in:
just talking
just analysing
or just coping
Instead, we focus on: understanding AND changing
MOST OF THE CLIENTS I WORK WITH ARE...
burnt out, mentally overloaded and unfulfilled
used to being the one people rely on, the one who just gets on with it
neurodivergent (ADHD, autistic or thinks they might be)
under pressure - particularly men - trying to hold everything together
From the outside, they look fine.
But inside?
They’re overwhelmed, disconnected, and tired of feeling this way.

When you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious or close to burnout, it’s hard to see clearly what’s actually going on.
Everything can feel tangled, heavy, or just too much.
This 3.5-hour standalone session helps gives you space to step back - and see what's really going on beneath the surface.
Using my 7 areas of wellbeing framework, we’ll assess what’s contributing to your stress, anxiety or overwhelm - so you leave with clarity, direction, and practical tools to move forward.
A MESSAGE FOR PARTNERS AND LOVED ONES
Welcome!
If someone in your life is struggling - feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or burnt out - you’ll know how hard it can be to watch.
Often, you can see something isn’t right…but they’re pushing through, keeping it together, or not talking about it.
You might feel unsure how to help, worried about saying the wrong thing or frustrated that nothing seems to change. If you’d like to talk things through or get a better understanding of how I can support them, you’re very welcome to book a call.
And if you’re here because you relate to any of this - then that matters too.
You don’t have to figure it out alone.

![I’ve just come back from a walk, and if I’m honest, I had to really push myself to go.
This is something I’ve been noticing more and more about having a neurodivergent brain… I don’t switch gears easily.
This morning I’ve had clients and meetings, then I’ve had a couple of hours in between before going back into client work this evening. Normally, I’d use that gap to grab some lunch quickly and stay in work mode, doing emails, ticking things off, being “productive”. Because once I’m in that gear, I’m in it.
Stepping out of that, even for something as simple as a walk, feels harder than it should. It’s like asking my brain to completely change roles, from focused, switched-on, holding space for others… to just being Claire, out in the fresh air, and then having to switch back again.
I’ve noticed this in other areas of my life too. When the boys were younger, going from mum mode straight into partner mode didn’t come naturally. Those roles don’t always sit neatly together, and the expectation to just shift between them can feel like a lot.
But here’s what I’m really starting to understand.
That resistance to switching gears is real. It’s not laziness or lack of discipline. It’s how my brain works.
And there is a strength in that. When I’m in the right gear, I focus deeply, I’m fully present, ]I get things done.
But the flip side is that without breaks, it’s easy to stay in that one mode for too long. That’s where burnout creeps in. Not because we’re doing something wrong, but because we’re doing too much of one thing without giving our brains time to reset.
This week I’ve been experimenting with doing it differently. Going for a walk, hitting a few golf balls, doing house jobs. Properly stepping away instead of half-resting while still checking emails.
And every time, I come back clearer, calmer and more focused.
Knowing this is one thing. Doing it is another.
Sometimes it feels like you’re fighting your own system, but I’m learning it’s not about waiting for it to feel easy. It’s about gently training yourself to step out of one role before stepping into the next.
If you struggle to switch gears, you’re not alone. And you’re not broken 🩵](https://scontent-den2-1.cdninstagram.com/v/t51.82787-15/659634211_18395715739197189_4717565706430715505_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e35_tt6&_nc_cat=101&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=18de74&efg=eyJlZmdfdGFnIjoiRkVFRC5iZXN0X2ltYWdlX3VybGdlbi5DMyJ9&_nc_ohc=w_rvgZBcUfEQ7kNvwE14-8A&_nc_oc=AdohTohjHBJnsJTd180wR69rJgqMEgrFxuMvBpbGTZTi8Ee1VleAhdvIzJIQdbye3Nc&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=scontent-den2-1.cdninstagram.com&edm=ANo9K5cEAAAA&_nc_gid=82tLVItvNYj5qe5MjFU0tg&_nc_tpa=Q5bMBQGX60m-KzYX8fKOeTEIOemEiHOy3214NseGG05Jrngnw2ZHud2Kev5_nvhFNnTIWIAymb7lke14&oh=00_Af3YDPyc0NL1dw7tAB4G5r31x8pNAnHPcefvwtWsGVIAhA&oe=69E79EA3)
